One of the top complaints I hear from families and teachers is:
“My kids just won’t clean up after themselves.”
It does take a lot of energy to clean up after small beings so that frustration is certainly warranted.
But there’s something important to know about cleaning: it’s not a skill, like language that is simply absorbed by observing those around you.
