Won't my child just grow out of their troubling behavior?

Parents will often ask me: Will my small being grow out of their troubling behavior?

I think it's always helpful to ponder: What if they don't grow out of the challenging behavior?  Then what happens?

Do you notice that we often speak of other people's behavioral path? (Tweet) My sister used ___ and now she ____. My friend had this problem that he ____ now he's _____.

It's not always a positive ending, is it?

In this video Dr. Marcie talks about the consequences of letting your small being's behavior turn into another rocky behavioral recovery story.

Ideas into Action!

What has your experience been with your own behavior? How has it changed as you've gotten older?
