How to Get Kid to Clean Up

As the 2017 school year is upon us, I want to share one of my favorite topics with you!

One of the top complaints I hear from families and teachers is:

“My kids just won’t clean up after themselves.”

It does take a lot of energy to clean up after small beings so that frustration is certainly warranted.

But there’s something important to know about cleaning: it’s not a skill, like a language that is simply absorbed by observing those around you.

Children must be taught how to clean up after themselves.
