WE ARE ALL EDUCATORS: THE TEACHER ATTRITION CRISIS

The heartbreaking reality is that two out of five teachers leave the profession within the first five years.

My suspicion is that they leave because they don’t know how to manage behavior in their classrooms. How can you teach when you can’t get students to sit in their seats?

I started writing my book Love Your Classroom Again (out September 15th!) with the intention of providing teachers with the tools necessary to solve these behavior issues … and hopefully to stem the tide of educators abandoning their career.

Along the way I found that many of the basic principles I wrote about were based in the work that I do with families.

Because behavior is all the same.

The very core Love Your Classroom Again can help parents and educators alike. Small beings need to learn good behavior from the big beings in their lives. (Click to Tweet) They are counting on us to teach them.
